This itinerary has been carefully designed to give you the opportunity to see the “big fives”: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino.
Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in the town of Moshi to rest after your journey. Enjoy a welcome dinner with your guide to discuss your itinerary and ask any questions you may have.
Day 2: Kilimanjaro and surrounding area
Visit Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak and the cradle of humanity.
Spend the day discovering the Materuni waterfalls, one of Tanzania’s natural wonders. At the end of the day, visit a coffee reserve to learn more about this important crop for the country.
To round off your day in style, enjoy a cup of hot coffee in front of the unforgettable beauty of Kilimanjaro.
You’ll spend the night on the outskirts of Arusha town, close to Arusha National Park, the magnificent exploration ground for tomorrow’s adventure.
Day 3: Safari in Arusha National Park
After breakfast, set off for a day’s safari in Arusha National Park. This national park is known for its variety of animals, including giraffe, buffalo, zebra, baboon and black and white colobus.
Enjoy an open-air picnic lunch and continue exploring the park until sunset.
You’ll spend the night on the outskirts of Arusha town to be close to Arusha National Park, the magnificent exploration ground for tomorrow’s adventure.
Day 4: Safari in Tarangire National Park
Departure for one of Tanzania’s most famous national parks.
Known primarily for its abundant elephant population, this 2,600-square-kilometer park is also home to a diverse fauna of lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelopes and numerous bird species.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Get ready for a breathtaking day’s safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as “Africa’s Noah’s Ark”. Descend into this immense volcanic crater, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife: lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, cheetahs and many other fascinating creatures. The spectacular crater landscape also offers breathtaking panoramic views. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the heart of this natural wonder, surrounded by teeming wildlife. Once the day’s exploration is over, you’ll be taken back to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.
Days 6, 7, 8: Serengeti Safari
After breakfast, we drive to the world’s most famous national park: the Serengeti. Immerse yourself in a world where countless animal species roam vast plains in search of prey or water. Admire majestic lions, elusive leopards, imposing elephants and many other iconic creatures in their natural habitat. Every day is a new adventure as you explore the raw beauty and incredible diversity of the Serengeti’s flora and fauna. During these three days, we propose several activities: dawn safaris, visits to Masai villages and stargazing (some of which are only visible in the southern hemisphere).
Day 9: Return to Arusha
After breakfast, we drive to Arusha. As it’s a long journey, we plan to take several breaks along the way. You can also stop to buy souvenirs in authentic shops or visit a Maasai village.
On arrival in Arusha, enjoy your last moments in Tanzania over a heart-warming dinner.
Day 10: Departure
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight.
