This itinerary is designed to be child-friendly, with fun, interactive activities and safety in mind. Parents can also enjoy the trip without worrying about organizing activities, as everything is taken care of by the agency.
This itinerary has been carefully designed to give you the opportunity to see the “big fives”: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in the city of Arusha to rest after your journey. Enjoy a welcome dinner with your guide to discuss your itinerary and ask any questions you may have.
Day 2: Safari in Tarangire National Park
Departure for one of Tanzania’s most famous national parks. Known primarily for its abundant elephant population, this 2,600-square-kilometer park is also home to a diverse fauna of lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelopes and numerous bird species.
Day 3: Safari in Ngorongoro Crater
Get ready for a breathtaking day’s safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as “Africa’s Noah’s Ark”. Descend into this immense volcanic crater, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife: lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, cheetahs and many other fascinating creatures. The spectacular crater landscape also offers breathtaking panoramic views. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the heart of this natural wonder, surrounded by teeming wildlife. Once the day’s exploration is over, you’ll be taken back to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.
Day 4, 5: Safari in Serengeti
After breakfast, we drive to the world’s most famous national park: the Serengeti. Immerse yourself in a world where countless animal species roam vast plains in search of prey or water. Admire majestic lions, elusive leopards, imposing elephants and many other iconic creatures in their natural habitat. Every day is a new adventure as you explore the raw beauty and incredible diversity of the Serengeti’s flora and fauna. During these three days, we propose several activities: dawn safaris, visits to Masai villages and stargazing (some of which are only visible in the southern hemisphere).
Day 6: Return to Arusha
After breakfast, we drive to Arusha. As it’s a long journey, we plan to take several breaks along the way. You can also stop off to buy souvenirs in authentic stores. On arrival in Arusha, enjoy your last moments in Tanzania over a heart-warming dinner.
Day 7: Departure
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight.
